![]() The only reason I could see myself using controller for navigation would be to auto run, but unlike PUBG, when on menu, it pauses your game. On lockpicking it is even more important, KB isnt case sensitive, at least not with my average KB, and using a controller (having played all previous bethesda games, and having 200 hours of skyrim on ps3) lockpicing is just much better, since you can actually take it slow and try to realize where you should have the pin. Skyrim is way more confortable on a controller, simple, aside aiming AND managing the inventory, aiming isnt that important, the problem is the inventory that with SkyUi is just much better but on controller it is lacking in options, like sorting out.Īlso sneaking and lockpicking, 2 very important gameplay features for me, are just much better on the X1 controller, since with the analogic you can move more smoothly while sneak, ing if you try KB, good luck pressing to move, and actually manage to sneak (and no I dont want to press an extra key to slow me down), analogic being case sensitive = helps alot! I was not asking that, rather than sticking with one option only is much better to make the best of using both. Also, in another opinion if you’re on PC and not using Sky-Ui and SKSE64 and Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch at the bare absolute minim you’re honestly doing yourself a dis service as those mods alone Fix a lot of stuff but again these are just my opinions you do you. so, I would say try both see what works for you. ![]() its all about the way you play games, and what makes you most confrontable for You to play the game. it’s definitely easier to aim with a mouse than a controller for me, although not sure about in third person because I don’t use third person at all unless I’m checking out my armor or something. It makes the interface look a lot better and more keyboard Friendly. Navigation isn’t a problem, if you have Sky-Ui Installed. so basically, my number one reason for mouse and key board is Hot keys. a lot of the mod authors that add MCM menus to their mods, don’t add controller support because they don’t think about it. ![]() However, I use mouse and keyboard because I play with 150+ mods, and a lot of them have MCM menus that you can rebind keys for (for example turning on a lantern with a hot key instead of fumbling around with a power). ![]() It is honestly personal Preference as others have said.
